The Bible tells us to pray for the sick and love the least, lost and the lonely, so that’s what we do. We pray, we feed, we try to show God’s love and generosity.

HALO (Homeless And Lonely Outreach) is an expression of the love and compassion of God, who calls us to serve, minister and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost, lonely and marginalised in York. We have teams that take hot drink and food to those on the streets of York allowing time for a good chat and the offer of prayer.

ReVive is our practical outreach ministry through which we express God’s compassionate heart for people in our City by coming alongside them to assist when they are struggling with decorating, gardening, clearing and other practical tasks. Every second Saturday of the month we do a project and we’d love to have you on board to help.

Every fourth Saturday of the month, a group of us go out on the streets of York to love and serve the community. We go out on the streets offering to pray for people, sometimes we go out and giveaway sweets. This looks different every month!

Ministry to the Elderly

Occasionally we visit the elderly and the lonely, and hold services for those in sheltered accommodation. This is an area of ministry we would love to expand.
