Joining a team and finding a place to serve is such a great way of feeling at home at York Vineyard and meeting new people.

Whatever your personality, skills, or gifts, there's something for everyone to get involved with. Whether it's serving refreshments, setting up chairs, welcoming people, helping with media and sound or joining a kids or youth team - or maybe getting involved with one of our outreach teams. There's something for everyone.

A lot of our teams look quite different at the moment, but there are still lots of ways you can get involved.  If you'd like to know more, just get in touch.

The Welcome Team is all about creating a warm welcome for guests and regulars each week.

The Refreshments Team ensures everyone can help themselves to a coffee and a donut before and after the service.

The Set-Up Team gets everything ready for a Sunday morning, laying out chairs and carrying boxes to where they need to go. They also set-down at the end.

The Sound Team set up the sound equipment, sound check the band and then ensure everything is sounding good throughout the service on the sound desk.

Our HALO (Homeless and Lonely Outreach) Team hands out hot drinks and food to people in need as well as connecting with and praying for people. You can find them in the city centre two evenings a week.

Our ReVive team reaches out and comes along side some of the most vulnerable members of our community in practical ways – often with gardening or decorating.

Vineyard Kids

The Vineyard Kids Team run multiple groups on a Sunday morning where they teach our kids that they're known and loved by God. There are always stories, games, songs and crafts to plan and deliver.

The Youth Team is passionate about seeing our youth grow up knowing Jesus in a real and authentic way. We run sessions on a Sunday morning as well as a regular youth group.

The Stream Team broadcast our service to YouTube every Sunday, combining camera input, sound and media to allow people to worship online.

The Media Team are responsible for projection, displaying the worship lyrics, notice slides and Bible verses throughout the service.
